I have always been an athlete. Movement, discipline, and determination have been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. From an early age, I was driven, focused, and relentless—giving 100% in everything I pursued and accomplishing what I set my mind to.
Growing up, I excelled in volleyball and quickly learned the value of hard work, teamwork, and mental toughness. Later, I moved to the United States without knowing the language. Instead of letting fear hold me back, I immersed myself completely. Through persistence and grit, I became fluent in English—without an accent—within just three to four years. Challenges never stopped me; they shaped me.
Throughout my life, I’ve been labeled the MVP—the strong one, the courageous one, the hardest worker, the one who leads by example. I take pride in inspiring others simply by showing up, putting in the work, and refusing to quit.
A few years ago, I decided to train for a 5K. That single goal turned into several half marathons—and eventually full marathons. I learned that limits are often self-imposed, and when you push past them, you discover strength you never knew you had. I strive every day to be the best version of myself and to help others believe they can do the same.
Helping, motivating, and life coaching others is one of my greatest passions. I truly believe that progress happens outside your comfort zone—so get comfortable being uncomfortable. Set goals. Stay humble. Stay hungry. Rise and grind, because “someday” may never come.
At 40 years old, I fulfilled a lifelong dream. After taking a few horseback riding lessons, I caught the bug. One lesson a week became two, then three. At 40, I bought my first horse and proved to myself—and others—that you are never too old to chase a dream.
Initially, my goal was simple: trail riding, swimming, and finding peace in leisurely rides. But once I had my horse, I decided to try barrel racing. I went all in—surrounding myself with the right people, learning from the best, and training hard… then harder.
Three years later, I now own two performance barrel horses along with my first horse, Magic. In that time, I’ve won four buckles and thousands of dollars, and I now compete against some of the best in the industry. I feel incredibly blessed and privileged to live a dream I once thought was out of reach. We continue to progress, train relentlessly, and accomplish things I never imagined possible.
I’m here to remind you: it’s never too late to follow your dreams. Love yourself enough to pursue what truly makes you happy. Work hard. Take it one day at a time—because a year from now, you’ll wish you had started today. You never know who you might inspire simply by showing up, working hard, shining, and being unapologetically yourself.
I’m not done yet. I will continue to work relentlessly in pursuit of the best version of myself and achieve everything I set my mind to.
Dream big.
Set the goal.
Just do it.

About 6 years ago I was stressed at work! Working long hours away from my family; I needed some sort of outlet to find balance and peace. As a birthday present, I rediscovered my childhood love for horses by taking a few riding lessons. I always loved horses, but owning my own horse seemed so far-fetched and out of reach. The more lessons I took, the more I realized that this was not just a passion but my calling. After a couple years of lessons with different trainers, I was encouraged to start participating in playdays (little local events with various riding patterns). After that, I was hooked and wanted to start Barrel Racing!

At 40 years old, I purchased Magic as my first horse. Magic is an ex-lesson horse that was just a little too much for lessons. Her speed and energy was a little much for some. My love and connection with her was instantaneous. Hard work, growing our bond and working together has won us 2 buckles and a little cash over the past year. While neither of us are the youngest or fastest, we work hard and push ourselves on the daily. Tim Notke popularly said, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard!”. When we started racing, people looked at us and didn't see anything worth giving a second look; now, they are taking that second look. While Magic may not be the horse to take me all the way, she is my heart horse and has taught and given me so much. Though she is older than most of her competition, she still shows up for me every time and gives it her all!
Tell me something I can't do, then watch me relentlessly pursue my passion and show that it is possible. Fear is not something I acknowledge! I don't stop until I'm finished! I hate to lose! I fight for what I believe in! I love my family and friends! I will stop at nothing to help others and succeed at my own goals.
